Rock Rabbit concentrates on producing Sauvignon Blanc. Since the first vintage in 2005 the wines have received rave reviews. Vineyards on the Central Coast and around the state supply specific flavor and texture characteristics for each of our wines. Initially the winery produced only Shiraz but decided to expand into a white wine after a couple of vintages.

Our Sauvignon Blanc receives no oak contact and reflects the fresh, crisp, ripe flavors of tropical fruit. In 2009 we incorporated some grapes from the Clarksburg area. Expect a little more zing from this vintage. It's a perfect oyster wine and for noshing parties.

For our Shiraz, the wine additionally benefits from oak aging, rounding out and further contributing to the layers of flavors that continue to develop in the glass. Grapes from Santa Barbara contribute a juicy blueberry note to the wine's aroma.

Since 2002 Winemaker Alex Cose has been guiding the flavor profile of our wines. He's always one to mix in just a touch of something unusual to help bump up aromatics, textures or flavors.
